Creative Process
Animation
Today, we are going to explore one of the main pillars of our creative studio—Animation! This service was the foundation for the launch and growth of Flow, driven by the fact that the Algarve had significant gaps in the provision of this service.
The art of creating moving images, particularly through computer graphics, is a time-consuming and highly complex process. Therefore, in this blog, we will focus solely on the creative process that Flow follows in every animation-related project.
The creative process is never the same across different fields, but it can be structured and adapted to optimise the workflow of a creative team.
Stages of the Process
Stage 1 | Summary and Proposal Clarification
The first stage always involves brainstorming ideas and developing an executable proposal. At this point, it is crucial to understand the client’s goals and objectives, ensuring a clear vision of the story they want to convey to their target audience, the time constraints, and the budgetary requirements.
Stage 2 | Planning
The process continues with the cultivation of ideas. If the script is not yet ready, this is where it is written and developed. Flow takes responsibility for enhancing and innovating the script. Once the script is finalised, Flow then moves forward with the full creation of the animation.
