"I participated in the Websummit in Lisbon as a filmmaker and it was an amazing experience. What I learned most from the Websummit is that in recent years there has been more focus on the importance of design in technology. This is because speed and efficiency are increasingly valued over the holistic needs of the individual, and a more human-centered design approach is being used. The talks I attended focused on cases of designers and executives who put real people at the center of the development process, and who use design to improve technology, but also on the people who experience the technologies we use every day. They will definitely be concepts and insights that have contributed to my knowledge."
