Flow at
Web Summit

This year, Web Summit took place from 1st to 4th November, bringing together over 70,000 participants from 160 countries, 2,300 startups, and more than 900 speakers.

Lisbon has been the stage for Web Summit since 2016, but this year held even greater significance for Flow, as we had the opportunity to cover the event for Algarve Evolution. Among the many speakers we had the privilege to see and the market trends and insights explored, Flow positioned itself ahead of its competitors, leveraging the event to undergo a brand rebranding and embrace its new market positioning.

It was at Web Summit that we unveiled Flow’s new image—a more innovative, humanised brand with an expanded range of services.

Our team members Eduardo, Miguel, and Marlon were selected to take on this challenge, an experience that undoubtedly left them with valuable insights and unforgettable memories.

"The Web Summit was an incredibly enriching experience, both professionally and personally. The multiculturalism gathered around ideas and innovation carries its own contagious energy. Together with our partners from Algarve Evolution, we hope to have represented the Algarve in the best possible way within our field of business. I look forward to the next edition, and in the meantime—Come Flow with us!"

Miguel Fragoso

"I attended the Web Summit in Lisbon as a filmmaker, and it was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to film interviews at the Algarve Tech Hub Association during the event, connect with so many different people, and gain inspiration and knowledge from insightful conversations. The event was also a fantastic chance to learn about the latest technology trends and potential funding opportunities. Overall, I found the experience to be highly enriching—a great opportunity to network, grow both personally and professionally, and be part of such an innovative environment."

Marlon Duarte

"I met many people at Web Summit, and I found it to be a very interesting experience. I had the pleasure of meeting individuals with diverse perspectives and great intelligence across a wide range of topics.
What I learned most from the Summit is that, in recent years, there has been an increasing focus on the importance of design in technology. This is because speed and efficiency are becoming more valued in relation to the holistic needs of individuals, leading to a more human-centred design approach.
The talks I attended focused on designers and executives who place real people at the heart of the development process, using design not only to enhance technology but also to improve the experiences of those who use it daily. These concepts and insights have greatly contributed to my knowledge and understanding."
